For my big birthday, Peter took us to Glacier Park where I celebrated my 20th birthday, 20 years previous. Full circle you could say. We took a boat tour across St. Mary lake then stayed at East Glacier Lodge where I worked in the bar. The nice thing about Glacier Park is that not much changes. Are you wondering why there are no photos of the beautiful mountains? It is because we did not see any mountains- it rained and was overcast the entire time, which is what I remember. It actually snowed on the birthdays I spent there so I should be grateful for the rain.
We had a great room with a balcony and had a wonderful dinner at Serrano's Mexican. The only thing that was different was that I had a family to share my special weekend with. I will get a Margarita next time and take my kids down my favorite trails.
