Baby goes Camping

It was a hot 4th of July in the Northern most part of Montana. We decided to high tail it out of Bozeman where you are allowed to set off fire works in town in honor of nation's independence. Though technically you are only suppose to blow stuff up on the 4th, every one seems to take the 1st-3rd to practice their technique, who really wants to risk wasting a good firework on the big day, right? So, up towards Libby, Montana we headed where our good friend Dave found us an AWESOME camp site on the huge Lake Koocanusa. The lake actually goes into Canada. It was hot, we swam and since we were in a national forest, NO Fireworks were allowed. Our dog finally had a peaceful holiday.

The big ass tent, know as the "Palace" to many on the Grateful Dead tour, is Dave's and it was perfect for the amount of shade it provided.

We stopped in Missoula at the beginning of our trip where we met up with our buddy Dick. In the downtown is a man-made play wave where Peter and Dick surfed and played long enough for me and Audrey to do some shopping downtown.
